Dear Ministry Partner,
We were especially blessed in June to have a group from the North Pulaski Baptist Association in our home town of No. Little Rock, AR. Twenty folks from various churches were led by Don and Margaret Moseley. During their week here they ministered to nearly 900 public school students. The team is pictured below.
As with VBS in the states, the team told bible stories, sang songs, presented puppet dramas, played games and did hand crafts to share about God's love through His Son, Jesus Christ. Every team member had a job and all worked willingly at whatever task was at hand. It was awesome to see the Holy Spirit produce a oneness as we worked with each age group in all the schools.
The mission will follow up with all the schools in a variety of ways. There are children who need health care. Classrooms need new roofs. Teachers have few visual aids. All of these are open doors for ministry in which your support will make a clear and meaningful difference.
Unity of purpose was the essence of the church's character and power in the book of Acts. This is what gave witness to the risen Christ. This participation of people together in God's grace is still at work today.
"You will be my witnesses . . . in every part of the world." Acts 1:8
